Curious Colors
Summer Camps at Experiment PDX
Prisms, paints, lasers & illusions! Students will engage their scientific senses through experiments, activities, and art projects. Discover the electromagnetic spectrum, learning that colors exist as the light we see while investigating the invisible waves all around us. Hands-on exploration of color principles: kids will mix and meld colors to create a full color wheel, experiment with natural dyes made from everyday foods, and learn fundamental painting techniques. Optical illusions of light, color, and layers will astound and inspire your junior scientist’s artistic creativity!
We'll have lunch care from 12-1pm for kids in double camps (1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon) and in full-day camps!
