Trying to build chess skills with your child? Join us for a chess class--all skill levels welcome. Classes every week, on Sunday. Ages 6+ welcome. Participants under 10 must be accompanied by an adult participant.

About the event
Is your child curious about learning chess or wanting to improve their skills? With instruction from our chess master, each of our chess classes will build on chess fundamentals and include hands-on practice of the game. Every chess class will consist of one hour of instructional time, followed by 30 minutes of open play in Experiment PDX's, hands-on museum.
Age range (6 - 15 years old)
Participants under 10 must join with an adult participant.
Ages 10+ welcome without adult accompaniment.
Parents play for free!
