About the event
We are excited to announce a Nerd Poetry Slam! The Nerd Slam is a space for poets to bring their geekiest poetry! Any poetry about a facet of pop culture (i.e., television, film, literature, podcasts, gaming, anime, etc.) or poems with a science-minded bent is welcome. This slam will also have a competitive element - folks who come up to the mic will be asked trivia about their nerd area of expertise. All folks, whether they get their trivia question(s) right or wrong, will still get to read, but folks who answer their trivia correctly might get a little prize...!!
Save the date for Wed. March 29th, 7pm over at Experiment PDX. Our host venue will sell drinks and some fantastic art from their store throughout the show. Come out early to check out what Experiement PDX has got and procure a beverage - show this excellent venue some love!! This is a fundraiser for the Bigfoot Regional Poetry Slam.
The Nerd Slam is open to all ages. Tickets are $10 for presale and $15 at the door.
